Taxes

For the last 2 days I've been filing our taxes. This is the second year in a row that I've done it. The first year Kyle and I were married we had a tax accountant do our taxes but the last 2 years I've been set on doing it myself. Why you ask? I think it's because a part of me is really stingy with our money ever since Casey came along and another part is because I feel like I don't go to school so I need to test my math and brain skills. But every time I do it I wonder why I don't just get a tax accountant because during the process I end up being frusterated and moody. (Thanks, Kyle for putting up with me!) Good thing I have such a wonderful husband who knows immediantly why I've been so grumpy these last two days...TAXES. Now the long process is over and I can finally say I filed our federal and state taxes ALL BY MYSELF. And thanks go out to my dad who went over them with me to make sure I did it right! :)

Practice

Casey plays with this dolly and the other day he wrapped her up into his blanket and walked around with her. Isn't he going to make such a good brother?!!

Dr. Appointment

Today I went to my doctor appointment and everything looks great with the babys heartbeat and my health is good. Now we're down to every 2 weeks with doctor appointments! Yeah! Which means I'm getting closer to having her! Next month they'll check to see if I'm getting close to having her! I'm really excited! We also decided to name her Alexis Mariah Kunz, yep thats right we decided to take Alexis Maria Boyd's name and have it be Lexi's!

Ice Skating

Casey got to go Ice Skating for the first time today! It's amazing they had ice skates his size. He did a pretty good job for his first time.

Doesn't he look so adorable! ;) I think Kyle is looking forward to the day Lexi will be here so then I will stop showing people my girly projects on Casey. We're both really excited and I'm getting so anxious to have her here!

Newest Project

So last night I watched my sister and mom start to crochet and decided it looked fun. So I set out to make baby booties and it actually turned out okay. They seem a little small so I'll be making some more. They're really easy to make and it only took me 3 hours to make these cute booties!

Big Boy!

Today our little 17 month old Casey went potty on his little trainer potty toilet! Kyle and I got really excited although we spent a good portion of the morning in the bathroom with him. Casey acted like he needed to go but he didn't want to because his diaper wasn't on him so it took him a long time sitting on the toilet to finally go! After he went potty in his toilet we gave him a yummy Oreo cookie! We're so PROUD of our little man!

Sledding

We went sledding with the kunz family and brought along my sisters and Halle (Alexis' fiance). It was a lot of fun! Casey didn't enjoy it as much as I thought because of the cold weather and the snow blowing in his face. But he loved hanging out in the car after we were done.
