I decided my story of how I had Lexi was way over due. On the day of Lexi's arrival I started to have contractions that weren't very painful early in the morning. I told Kyle before he left for school that morning that I thought today would be the day so for him to keep his cell phone on. I called the doctor a little after nine because the contractions were coming every 15 minutes, but weren't consistant. They told me to come in around 11:30am. They checked me and I was only dialted to a 5 but since my contractions were coming every 15 minutes or less they told me to check into the hospital. At around 2pm I still wasn't progressing but they didn't want to send me home because I tested postivie for strep b so they decided to induce me at around 5 pm. I must say this labor and delivery was completely different from Caseys. Casey's was much easier and with him I got dialated to a 7 without any pain. With Lexi on the other hand, more painful and my epidural wouldn't work at times. I felt bad for all of my visitors to see me in pain and I'm just glad that when I was dialted to a full 10 let me wait to push until they got the epidural working again. I pushed for an hour and at 10:00pm our Baby Lexi was born at 8 lbs 2 oz. When I went to my postpartum appointment they said they won't let me go past 39 weeks because of my size!!! Yay no more 40 week pregnancy's for me!! Although I'm pretty sure they were off about my due date and really Lexi was born 1 day before my original due date. All that hard work was well worth it!

The Dress I altered
Congradulations go out to Alexis and Mark Halle who tied the not yesterday!!! Kyle and I are so excited to have Mark as a brother-in-law!!!
On I different note. You might remember me talking a lot about the dress I altered to be modest for Alexis, well the time has finally come where I can show you the pictures and steps on what I did to make the dress Temple ready.
*I took off the train
The Jacket I made but I hadn't put the sleeves on yet.
Doesn't she look GORGEOUS!!!

*I took off the train
*hemmed it because she is very short
*made straps to keep the dress up
*made a jacket with the left over lace from the train I took off to go over the strapless gown
*took the back and sides in to make it lay nicer because I took off the train and it layed funny after that
*we bought a beautiful broach to tie the whole dress together

Casey...hard at work
Our little Casey has been such a good hard worker these last couple of days! We have been preparing for Alexis and Marks wedding by doing a lot of work! Casey helped Kyle mow the lawn, sand the play house with Aunt Josie, and Vacuum rooms. After a couple of days of hard work he got to run in the sprinklers! He loved that!

Our Kids!
Lexi has been such a good girl! Ever since she's hit 6 weeks old she's been getting up only once to eat during the night taking 4-5 hour stretches! Its been so nice to get more sleep during the night! Casey has been such a good helper with washing the dishes, vaccumming and taking care of Lexi! We're so lucky to have such good kids!!

Baby Blessing Day
Bridal Shower
Susie and I threw Alexis a bridal shower! It was lots of fun! We made these cute cupcakes with chocolate covered strawberrys as a wedding dress and tuxedo! We had many good salads and it turned out great! We also had purple grape anti bacterial hand sanitizer for the favors. Just in case you couldn't tell, Alexis' wedding color is purple and green,
