Primary Boy

Casey now goes to the PRIMARY!!! He's growing up too fast! He did really good after I spent the first 35 minutes with him. He first didn't want to go to primary. I sat next to him and he didn't want to participate in any of the singing or activities. All he kept saying to me

was he wanted to go with Lexi. He missed Lexi a lot! But soon

he warmed up to primary and I left him. I looked back to see him

sitting in his chair quietly and feeling a little sad that my little Casey is growing up and his father isn't here to see all these little steps in life he's taking. I know Kyle would have loved to be here to see his little boy go to primary for the first time so maybe with Lexi he'll take her to her first day of primary. I'm crossing my fingers but I know they have him schedule to deploy again around the time she goes into primary. I love that Casey is getting older and helping me with his siblings but at the same time I look back and remember when he was first born and now I'm watching my little boy go to primary with his scriptures in hand. After church I picked Lexi up from nursery then we headed to Caseys class. Lexi of course got really excited to see Casey and called his name. It was a cute reunion to watch.
