Belated Birthday Pictures

The day before Caseys birthday I woke up and told Kyle that we should just celebrate it that day since we didn't know when Liberty would come and knowing my luck she would probably want to come on the day I didn't want her to come which would be Caseys birthday. So we made a nice birthday breakfast for him, opened presents, and ate Thomas the Train cupcakes. Just what Casey wanted. Kyle went to Study for the day and at around 6:30 p.m. I went into labor. So I was very happy that we had celebrated Caseys (now Liberty's) birthday a day early.

Liberty

In honor of our little Liberty how could I pass the opportunity to buy Liberty Goldfish?!
This is what Lexi and Casey do ALL DAY! I'm not kidding. They just hoover over her, kiss and try to play with her all the time!Lexi is the happiest when she gets to hold Liberty! It's so cute how much Casey and her love the new baby! Casey pushed the chair we have in our room over to the crib so he and Lexi could get a better view of Liberty. When I was nursing Liberty, Casey asked if he could hold her and I told him I was feeding her. Casey said, "I feed baby."
I said "no mommy has to feed baby. She has special milk."
Casey pointed to himself and said "I feed baby special milk."
The funny things Casey says makes me laugh every day!

Liberty Ann Kunz

Liberty Ann Kunz
born July 17, 2011 03:17
7 lbs 13 oz.
20.2 inches long
*A wonderful labor and delivery! I went into labor at 6:30 p.m. on July 16th.
Kyle and I loaded the kids in the car and headed to the Army Reynolds Community Hospital! I was so excited. The
nurse wanted to make sure I was in the active stage of labor. I was dialated to a 4 and she checked
me into the hospital. It was around 7:30 when they checked me into the hospital when Kyle took
the kids to the babysitters. When Kyle got back we watched some television and talked
about what our little Liberty would look like. The nurse throughout the night came and checked on me and
I got an epidural. I really liked my epidural because it took the edge off of the pain but I could still move my legs and I
felt the contractions still but not as bad. This epidural was the best by far out of the other 2 because I wasn't completely numb. I
could move and feel my legs. The nurse checked me around 1 am July 17th and I went from a 5 to a 9.
My water still hadn't broken so the Dr. came in and broke it for me. After he did that it wasn't too long before
I all of a sudden felt like the baby was coming but I didn't know for sure. We called the nurse in and she checked me
and said the baby was right there and not to push. So she called the Dr. and he came right away and I started to push and then
they told me to stop. 10 minutes of off and on pushing and baby Liberty came! It was such a good labor!
Baby Liberty didn't cry much whenshe made her grand entrance and she still seems to be that way. Very calm.
Casey and Lexi LOVE Liberty. Lexi is absolutly loving her little sis.
She has to touch and kiss her! Casey asks if he can hold her every time we pick her up.

PT with DAD

The kids got to see what their Dad does every morning.

We all woke up at 4:45am and went to PT.

We got to participate with Kyle in his pt exercise.

It was so cute to watch Casey and Lexi attempt to do

push-ups, sit-ups, running and other

exercises that I don't even know what to call. After the kids

had a pt test. They got a 1st Battalion, 30th Field Artillery

honorary hard charger membership award.:) They were

pretty excited to get the award!
