Trunk O Treat

Our ward did a Trunk O Treat with 2 other wards where there were lots of kid games,

food, dessert, music and lots of fun! Casey and Lexi picked out their costumes this year. Casey wanted to be a soldier just like his daddy and Lexi was Minnie Mouse! Liberty wore Lexi's costume from last year which was a fairy. The kids had so much fun! We even took our non-member friends who had a blast too!

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Picking

Saturday morning we took the kids to the pumpkin patch! It was so much fun! The kids picked out their own pumpkins from the field and we also took a ride to the corn fields and picked over 50 ers of corn for $13! Yes what a sweet deal it was! Kyle and I had so much fun doing it with our kids! It was hot, dirty and hard work gathering our 3.5 kids and walking around with 4 heavy bags full of corn but so worth it! We will definetly go next year! We gave a lot of corn away to friends and neighbors and then I freezed the rest. Only in Paradise could we pick corn at the end of October!

25.5 weeks

 

How far along? 25.5 weeks in this picture but right now i'm 26 weeks.

Total weight gain/loss: 12 lbs.
Maternity clothes? I wear mostly maternity capris and shorts but not maternity shirts.

Stretch marks? Nope! So far with all of my pregnancys I've never had stretch marks and I hope I don't get any in the future! Knock on Wood!
Best moment this week: I got some headbows I ordered for the new baby! Can't wait to put them on her when she comes!

Miss Anything? I miss laying on my stomach.

Lexi funny saying

The other day I was sitting on the stairs and watched Lexi pick her nose. I told her of course that it was yucky to do that. She looked up at me with the Burger on her finger and said in the sweetest voice, "Mommy, is it okay if I eat it?" I laugh out loud and think to myself Of course it's not okay. That's gross! So I just told her,"no."

Crazy

So lately things here have been kind of crazy and scary. Living on base can bring unexpected surprises. I thought we'd be really safe but I don't feel that way lately. 2 weeks ago there was a bomb threat here on base that wasn't too close to where we live and then the day after at the commissary which is only a couple of blocks from where we live. Today I'm visiting with my neighbor and I get a text from Kyle saying there is a shooter on base and to stay inside. That made me really nervous. I do not feel very safe here on base. Even though we're surrounded by gates and you can only go in and out through security I feel they need to really crack down and make security even tighter.

Gone and Back

So Kyle went off to the Big Island to watch some training his unit was doing over there. We missed him terribly or I should say I really missed him! Luckily, I have such awesome friends who I hung out with so the time went by quickly. While he was gone the kids and I watched the final Presidental debate, took Liberty to her dr.'s appointment and ended getting all 3 kids flu shots. It was a sad day. So after their shots I took them to their favorite place...Jamba Juice and we all got our favorite flavors! The kids and I love that place! Casey always asks if he can get a "strawberrys wild" smoothie!

Now Kyle is back and the kids and I are sooooo happy!

Food

Last week we went to a really yummy Japanesse Restaurant  called GyuKaku!

They bring the meats you choose and you grill it yourself!

The kids loved it! After we ate we roasted marshmellows over the pit! After

that s'more we went home and roasted marshmellows over the grill!

We will definetly be going there again!

Getting my sewing groove on!

Even though Christmas is in 2 months I always like to start shopping early! Every year our family does a drawing and my kids drew my older sisters kids. She has 6 yr. old Gracie, 2 yr. old Crew and baby #3 is a girl coming during Thanksgiving. I took ideas from pinterest and made them all matchy clothes!

 I didn't have a before picture but I just used a plain white shirt I got at target.

 I sewed a pocket over the old navy logo shirt so Crew could be matching the girls.

These are all of them basically finished. I still want to put a bow on gracies shirt and I got the girls cute matching headbows!

For a while I've been teaching preschool to Casey and just recently I got more creative...

Thanks to pinterest! haha! I'm not very creative and so Casey would just do worksheets....sad. But now we've done countless crafts and I've found awesome sites to help me teach preschool. I make up my own curriculum depending on what I see Casey needs to work on and go by it every day. It's been so much fun doing preschool with him and Lexi! We've been getting into the Halloween spirit and our fridge is covered with Halloween activities that the kids have done! That's my way of decorating our house is just having the kids make the decorations!

 Today we worked on his alphabet! Casey loves trains and so I bought this train alphabet and had him sing the alphabet song over and over and point out the letters and pronounce every one. All I have to say is I think my sons such a genius! ha! He's so good at his letters and sounds and I get to witness it! I love being able to see him grow! We also like to put words together with his train and he LOVES it!

Our Weekend!

Our weekend of course involved the beach! We seem to do that a lot but when you're surrounded by the ocean it's hard not to go! The kids love it! After beach time we went shopping at Target and went out to eat at Tony Romas! It was a good day!

This is how our life is with 3 kids! It can get very loud and wild! We Can't wait for baby #4 to come and join the fun!

The Pencil that got undressed

Our kids are so silly. Casey took off the cover to his pencil and said it was naked. So naturally Lexi had to copy him!

23.5 week Baby Bump

Our 3/4 day weekend!

Kyle had a 3/4 day weekend this past week. On Thursday his unit had organization day which meant bring your kids to work day! Casey and Lexi loved it! Casey loved looking at all the guns and trucks. They also got to jump in a bouncy and play don't drop the egg game.

Thursday afternoon we went to the Dole Plantation and got lunch and some Dole Whip! It was so good! Casey had been wanting a pineapple shirt so we got him one and both kids a pineapple big pencil! They had a lot of fun with those!

Casey took off his pencil wrapper and said the pencil was naked! Lexi got a kick out

of that so she started saying the same thing!

Saturday morning we watched General Conference at 6:00am. The kids were really good during

the first session!

 I got a pinterest idea and put candy in jars and when they heard the speakers talk about any of the pictures on the jar they got to have that candy! They loved this!

 Saturday right after the last session of General Conference we had 3 families in our ward that live right in our neighborhood come over for a bbq! We had over 20 people at our house! It was a lot of fun! I think I want to make it a tradition!

 Sunday we just hung around watching General Conference again!

 Monday we went to Pearl Harbor! The kids loved riding the boat over to see the arizona memorial.

After pearl harbor we went and ate at our favorite Italian restaurant that makes THE BEST Lobster Bisqu EVER!!
