preschool

I teach Casey preschool and for a couple of weeks he went to my friends preschool group but
I went back to teaching Casey and he is such a good learner. I've been getting great worksheets off of pinterest and Casey loves doing them! Right now he's learning to write his name, right from left, matching uppercase to lowercase letters, etc. He's so good at learning and has a drive to learn!
Today I got so busy with the day that we did his preschool at night instead of the late morning/early afternoon like normal. Kyle was home and I thought it would be great to see Kyle teach Casey. It was so cute to watch!

Casey is a preacher...

For a couple of years Kyle and I have been teaching Casey about the word of wisdom. The other day at the commissary we were walking down the coffee isle and a man was getting coffee out of the dispensor. Casey yelled to the guy "coffee is bad for you!"
oh. my. goodness. I was proud of Casey that he knows it's not good to drink coffee but at the same time it was a little awkward. haha.

A couple of days ago I took the kids and Caseys friends to the park to play. While on the playground I heard Casey tell his friend, Joseph who isn't LDS "Joseph, when I get older I can live with Heavenly Father again." Joseph didn't say anything so Casey said "did you hear me Joseph?" Joseph responded yes and Casey said "good. thank you"

21 Week Baby Bump!

I'm now 21 weeks along! This pregnancy is moving really fast!
This is the dress the kids picked out for me and it was not in the maternity section and in my normal clothing size! They did a good job, don't you think?!

How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I gained 8 lbs at 16 weeks and they didn't weigh me my last appointment! Yes, I'm gaining weight quickly!
Maternity clothes? For the most part no. I can still fit into my jeans and shorts but I mostly lounge around in my sweats. Luckily, I can still fit into my shirts also.
Stretch marks? Nope! So far with all of my pregnancys I've never had stretch marks and I hope I don't get any in the future! Knock on Wood!
Best moment this week: Well, Last week I got an ultrasound and that was so fun! She pointed straight at the ultrasound technician and I. It was the cutest thing...EVER!!
Miss Anything? I miss having more energy.
Movement: Yes! She mostly moves when I lay down.
Food cravings: I crave chocolate alot and Utah food!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fish.
Have you started to show yet: Yes! For Sure! My bump will just keep getting bigger and bigger until I look like I'll pop!
Gender: Girl, Still!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? In, still!
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy! My kiddos have been so cute with my baby bump. Casey tells me most days "mommy, you're getting so big. You're gonna have the baby soon and it'll come out of your tummy." haha. Little does he know that I'm going to get way big!
Looking forward to: Picking a name out! Still thinking of names...

military life...

Everyone that can view our blog knows about our journey in the military. Life in the military is very unpredictable! That is for sure! There are a lot of pros and cons to being in the military.
Pros: Free housing which includes utilities and maintenance, Free Health Care (not as good as civilian though), Cheap dental insurance (and I mean $12 a month cheap for our family), Discounts with military ID, Fly free on Space A, tropic lighting thursday (Are supposed to get home around 3 pm but Kyle doesn't always), The pay is good for us (It depends on your spouses rank though), They pay us food allowance for all of us and we feel fortunate to have a job during these rough economic times.
The cons: Staff Duty (you stay at work for 24 hours about 1-2 times a month), You don't get paid over time, Kyle comes home sometimes 10 at night and gets up at 5am so basically really long hours.
With all of the pros weighing the cons I'm just glad that Kyle has a good stable job. Below are some pictures of Kyle during his deployment. He got to reenlist a soldier! I'm so proud of Kyle and all that he has accomplished! Next month he will be promoted to 1st LT! Yay!

Kyle won the bull riding competition so he gave his acceptance speech.

When Kyle goes to work these 2 cling on to him not to leave...especially Lexi. She can't get enough of her Daddy! It's adorable but at the same time it leaves me with a crying little girl for a while.

Family Pictures

Kyle has a friend he works with who does photography out here in Hawaii. Logos Photography. is the name and they do a good job! You can like him on facebook or if you're ever in Hawaii and want your pictures taken contact him! Next time we'll go to the beach but he wanted to see how it would be with kids since he's never taken pictures of kids and now he knows!

over 19 weeks

Over 19 weeks and feeling great! Last week Kyle felt the baby move! It was so exciting!
Sorry for the small picture. Kyle took it on instagram and we didn't have time to take it with the camera but you can still see my baby bump! I'm looking forward to Friday because I will be getting my 20 week ultrasound!

Casey

I am so grateful for my little man! Well, I'm gratefull for all of my children but Casey has been such a good son! Yesterday, while Liberty was taking her mid-day nap I told Casey and Lexi to play quietly in there room so I could lay down. While I was laying in bed I heard loud noises downstairs so I went to see what the kids were up to. To my suprise Casey was unloading the dishwasher for me! haha! What a sweetie! He's sooooo good about doing his daily and extra saturday chores! He's always helping me out! I am the luckiest mom!
The other day he fell asleep on the stairs.
