We started off our family home evening with "I'm a Child of God." led by Casey and Lexi! One of the cutest things! Kyle gave the lesson on following the Iron rod. Casey got a chance to hold onto the iron rod and follow it to the tree of life. Lexi and I would try to get him to stray away from the iron rod....which worked many times. hahaha. Everytime he would let go Kyle would say "don't let go." Casey would reply "but mommy told me too!"

At the end Casey and Lexi got to partake of the yummy fruit/chocolate from the tree of life!

Kyle gave the kids baths and Liberty was crawling around after. I saw her and thought to myself that it was baby Casey. hahaha. She reminds me a lot of when Casey was her age.

Liberty 11 months

Our Adorable Liberty turned 11 months on Father's Day! She is such a cutie pie! We love her so much!

*She weighs a wapping 20.5 lbs

*She loves to eat chunks of bananas

*Loves to play peek-a-boo

*Says mama when she's with dadda and says dadda when she's with mama

*Has 3 teeth on top and 4 teeth on bottom

*Sleeps 12-13.5 hrs. at night!

*Is learning to wave

*Will swat your hand if you try to give her something she doesn't want

*Loves to take baths and go swimming

*Gives really big smiles anytime of the day!

*Is very stubborn when it comes to trying to get her to walk

Father's Day

It was a lot of fun celebrating Father's Day with Kyle! The kids and I made decorations and apple pie!

Kyle is such a great Dad to our children!

I Love bath time!

I love giving the kids a bath especially a bubble bath!

General Smiths Presidential Platform

I saw this and thought it was pretty interesting. I like it. I only posted part of it but the whole thing is worth reading. (This was posted by Kyle). There are some good ideas in there. It says "Democracy, Whiggery, and Cliquery will attract their ellements and foment divisions among the people, to accomplish fancied schemes and accumulate power... and should an honest man, red, black, or white, exhibit a better title, these gentry have only to clothe the judge with richer ermine..." I like his ideas on decreasing the pay of congress and using those and other proceeds to buy the freedom of slaves. I also like the idea of having criminals work on public works like roads and to turn prisons into "seminaries of learning". I also liked the idea of abolishing court martials for desertion in the military and using honor as the enforcer by sending deserters their wages and telling them that their country will never trust them again. I also thought the ideas on letting Texas, the continental US (as long as natives agreed) Canada, and Mexico become part of the USA are interesting. "We have had democratic presidents, whig presidents, a pseudo democratic whig president, and now it is time for a president of the United States...."

What we've been up too...
Lexi loves to sing, wear sunglasses and get into mischief. The other day she kept calling my name and I kept telling her I'd come and after 5 minutes she started to scream so I ran to see what was going on and I found her like this. Stuck. Dangling from the sink. She washed her hands and after she didn't know how to get down from the sink.

Casey Kunz loves having attention with Lexi. After I took the above picture with Lexi dangling from the sink he said "look at me!" and started to pose in funny ways. He also likes to do crazy things like...

 grab a fresh tomatoe from the kitchen and grab a stick and plant it with my flowers. He also likes to...

 dress in daddys military uniform and parade around the home as if he's a soldier!  

Liberty loves to spend time with her Daddy!

She always has this contagious smile.

 The kids love hanging out with each other. Whether it's on the couch watching a movie or

 making and frosting cupcakes with sprinkles.

 or the girls dressing a like.

 or them playing with daddy out in the back.

 Or just hanging out in our bedroom!
