Potty Training Lexi

So I asked Kyle to please potty train Lexi. After potty training Casey I never wanted to do it again! haha. It was that bad! It took Casey 7 months to be fully potty trained and I always had to make him go every couple of hours since he didn't want to go on his own. It was hard!
So we decided on Saturday since Kyle was off work. He put Lexi in Minnie undies and gave her this enthusiastic talk about how sad Minnie would be if she wet on her. 10 minutes later SHE tells Kyle she needs to go potty on the toilet and she went! After I saw that I decided I could take over! haha! That first day she was trying to figure out when she needed to go and only had 3 accidents. On day 2 of potty training...no accidents and she told us when she needed to go and we would ask her sometimes if she did. Day 3 of potty training... no accidents and I haven't had to ask her once if she needed to go potty on the toilet. She always came to me. She also did number 2 which to me seems pretty big to do on the toilet. Day 4...the exact same thing. No accidents and she even told me she had to go at a friends house! She actually took the time to stop playing and tell me she needed to go potty! So proud of her! Casey always got distracted and would have many accidents. This is how I imagined potty training would be like! I'm glad we have so many girls! If all of them are like Lexi then I'm in Heaven!

St. Barbaras Ball, Pearl Harbor & promotion

The last couple of days have been busy for us! We had a lot going on.
Thursday night we went to the St. Barbaras Ball. It was a lot of fun hanging out with
friends and having a night out! Then early the next morning on December 7th I took Kyle to Pearl Harbor where he attended the Pearl Harbor Ceremony in rememberance of
those who served during WWII. It was such a great experience and I am
so proud of him! After the Pearl Harbor ceremony we drove to the missouri
battleship and Kyle was promoted to 1LT!! Yay! He's worked hard
for this promotion and I'm so grateful for a wonderful husband who wants to
provide for his growing family! After the ceremony we decided since he also got a pay raise from being promoted we'd go out to eat to celebrate at his choice of restaurant which was Ruby Tuesday in Mililani! He also gets Monday off  so we get a 4 day weekend!

(these guys are always with each other!)
At the Pearl Harbor Ceremony they rang the bell
6 times to represent each military branch and then
the soldiers marched out in formation.

After they marched out they created 2 lines where the stood
on both sides of the side walk so the veterans and their
families could walk down the "honor of walk." The soldiers saluted until all
of the veterans and their families made it through.

These guys are always with each other!

1st and 2nd articles of faith

We've been teaching Casey his
articles of faith. He knows his
1st and 2nd so far and we're in the process of teaching
him his 3rd. He catches on really quick and Lexi is
smart as a whip too! She already knows her first and is learning
her 2nd! Maybe she'll have all 13 articles of faith down by the
time she goes into sunbeams! Wouldn't that be cool!

Wicked

Kyle and I had a date night last week and it was so much fun!
We ate at our favorite restaurant down in Waikiki and then
saw Wicked! Kyle has never seen it so I wanted
him to watch it because I've only seen it one other time and I
loved it! It was Wicked!
